Who Knew We'd Meet Again Like This...

Okay, before anyone bashes on this and says that Courtney and Heather are underage, this is actually based in the far future!
It's a cold day, and Heather, who is quite heavily pregnant, decides to go to the shop, as her husband, Alejandro is working. He's been working extremely hard since she had announced the pregnancy a few months ago. She's been feeling quite lonely, but happy at the same time, feeling that it was a sign that Alejandro would be an excellent father to their child - the gender unknown because Heather wants it to be a surprise! (Alejandro isn't too charmed about that, however. He is growing very impatient and is dying to know the gender of the little Burromueto!)

It is around 9AM as Heather reads through the grocery list as she slowly walks through the shop. "Ugh. Why is 'Easter egg' written on the grocery list? Alejandro is so immature. We're not freaking preschoolers!" She groaned under her breath. She continued walking slowly as she carefully read the list. "Ow!" Her belly bumped into someone - or should I rather say, someONE. "Ugh! watch where you're -- ?!" Heather paused. "C-Courtney?!" 
Courtney blinked and tilted her head slightly. "Heather? Is that really you?" 
Heather scoffed. "Of course it's me! I don't really age. I know it's been like, 10 years... But still."
Courtney giggled as she glanced down at Heather's large belly. "You too, huh?"
"What do you mea-- Ohh..." Heather then realized Courtney's even larger belly-bump. "Holy Geez! You look like you were due a year ago!"
"Sh-Shut up!" Groaned Courtney, clearly embarrassed. "He's a big boy. That's all." She mumbled.
"A boy, huh? Speaking of boys... Erm... Who's the father?" Asked Heather, slightly awkwardly.
Courtney gasped and then cleared her voice. "Ahem! Don't ask it like THAT! The father is... my... h-husband..."
Heather tilted her head, then burst out laughing. "WHAT? It's DUNCAN?!" 
Courtney blushed red. "H-How did you figure out I was with Duncan again?!" 
"Because... You're always ashamed to mention you're with HIM. Little miss C.I.T."
"Actually! He's changed a lot... I was a little ashamed to mention him now, because you only know the old him. He's matured a lot since then, actually. He still gets up to no good sometimes... *Sigh* Buuuut I DO make sure he learns from his mistakes and never does them again!" 
Heather rolled her eyes as she put her grocery list in her handbag. "Maybe he's just trying to go back to prison because that's better than living with you?" 
Courtney scoffed, understanding that Heather was being mean, but was actually joking about it. 
"Want to go get a cup of tea or coffee? I heard there's a good place down the road." Asked Courtney, smiling.
"F-Fine... I guess?" Responded Heather, rather quickly, secretly happy that she has someone to spend time with during the day.
The walked off together, giggling as they continued their conversation, before enjoying a day out and catching up.

Should I continue this? I would actually love to make a story and drawings as the story progresses! Tell me if you liked it!
